Privacy

The short version: I don't track you. The longer version is below.

Hi, and thanks for reading this — I know a privacy page isn’t the most exciting thing to click on. But this one actually matters to me, so I wanted to write it down in plain words rather than hide it behind legal boilerplate.

I don’t track you

This is my personal website, and I built it to respect you. That means:

  • No analytics. I don’t use Google Analytics or any other tool to watch what you do here. I genuinely don’t know who you are, and I like it that way.
  • No cookies. This site sets none — none for tracking, none for “preferences,” none at all.
  • No third-party scripts. No social widgets, no embedded trackers, no ad networks. Everything you load comes from this site and nowhere else.
  • No fonts or files from other servers. Even the fonts are hosted right here, so your browser never quietly phones home to someone else while you read.

Why I care about this

I think you should be able to read someone’s website without being followed around the internet afterwards. I don’t need your data to share my work, and collecting it just because I could feels wrong to me. So I don’t.

Because I collect nothing and store nothing about you, there’s really nothing for me to misuse, leak, or sell — and nothing I need a cookie banner to ask you about.

A few pages link out to other places — the projects I’ve worked on, the team I’m part of, that sort of thing. Once you click through, you’re on someone else’s website, and their rules apply, not mine. I’d just gently suggest keeping that in mind, the way you would with any link.

Questions?

If anything here is unclear, or you’re curious how the site is built, I’m happy to talk about it — keeping this place private is something I’m a little proud of. Feel free to contact me at larsgutiu@gmail.com.
